The Texas Urban Forestry Council is a dynamic nonprofit organization that serves as a forum for education, networking, and advocacy for those interested in impacting the community forests of Texas. TUFC is the only statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cooler, greener Texas communities.

This is an exciting time for TUFC and its members! We have a variety of new educational programs and technologies, which will assist Texas communities in expanding and developing more effective urban forestry programs. These programs include Texans for Trees and the Educational License Plate program.

Subscription to quarterly print newsletter, The City Forester. Not only is The City Forester filled with member, state, and national announcements, but it contains articles about upcoming meetings, conferences, award programs, and member achievements.

Access to our forestry information archive. We are building relationships with individual Texas Forestry groups to collect and organize an astounding amount of forestry information. TUFC is focused on the future and will grow to meet our members' emerging needs.

Local and statewide networking activities, educational seminars, and regional updates.

Provides a voice for members in municipal and statewide urban forestry issues. Our advocacy program allows members to work on issues which directly improve urban forestry programs statewide.

Provides opportunities for stewardship through Texans for Trees and the License Plate Education Program.
